These ships saw service in fleet engagements and planetary invasion. During a fleet engagement the ship would follow shortly behind the vanguard ready to take out high priority targets, it would then squarely park itself in the centre of the [[UNSC]] fleet putting itself in a position where UNSC ships would have to re-orientate their MAC weapons towards the vessel. From there it would begin firing every weapon at it's disposal at every ship it could, the effect was often devastating and the resulting conflicts would be over very quickly. |

Overview
The capital ship of choice for when you need some more muscle in the fleet as it boasts the perfect balance between massive durability and massive firepower.
History
During the Human-Covenant War it was uncommon to see an Assault Carrier. Due to the sheer size, the enormous power requirements and the immense weapons on board the vessel very few were ever constructed and only extremely capable Sangheili Generals were ever given command of these incredible war machines.

From there it would begin firing every weapon at it's disposal at every ship it could, the effect was often devastating and the resulting conflicts would be over very quickly.

Weapons and Tactical Usage
Of the four capital ships available to the Covenant the Salvation Class will be your bulking up ship. It commands enormous firepower and survivability which makes it a far more affordable alternative to the Super-Destroyer. It's important to remember that this ship should be used for fleet engagements and not specialized targeting, that job is best left to the Adjudicator Class.
