The United Nations Space Command (UNSC) is one of three playable factions in the mod Sins of the Prophets (SotP). The UNSC is the military arm of the United Earth Government (UEG), first formulated in 22nd Century as a means to address several military conflicts that plagued the Sol System at the time. The UNSC was designed for cross-discipline cooperation, which it excels at due to the nature of HighCom (High Command). The UNSC is split into Ground (UniCom) and Naval (NavCom) forces. Although the UEG commands the UNSC during the Human-Covenant War in many ways the UNSC acted as the main governing body.
During game-play the player is given command of the entire UNSC as a whole and can use these power as the player sees fit, although only the space/NavCom side of the UNSC can be used/operated/commanded.
